Christian Schindler, manager of Lufthansa UK/Eire/Iceland has said that Austrian to Vienna was brought about due to it being the biggest connection via the Lufthansa hubs and one of the most demanded routes from customers.
He also says Manchester is now, along with Heathrow, one of the only UK points to be served by all LH group airlines on a scheduled basis.
