Given the severity of the accident and that the accident happened less than 3 weeks ago and that the pilot was then described as "in a critical condition" and "in an induced coma" I'd be very surprised if he is now at home.
It maybe that the pilot is now improved enough, and has moved from an intensive care/ high dependency unit in a hospital near to where the accident happened to a hospital unit near home?
