Folks best of luck to all applicants, great to see this program running again
It is a shame so few of so many applicants will be selected but a great
Chance to go through a selection process and learn from it for the next time with EI or other carriers.
Most of your questions will have been answered in previous threads so a little research on your part will avoid posting on here.

EI is growing , see today's results for August, google it
Big expansion for next summer , extra USA routes and aircraft plus Shorthaul
Expansion with the return of the remain three Little Red 320s
EI has a significant number of EU nationals as pilots , they just want the best
Applicants that fit their Airline.
Only 10% are female so they want to increase that number !
