Mi-24 gets a facelift, go-fast stripes
Mi-24LL flying testbed, as displayed at last week's MAKS show. Described as being developed in support of the Mi-X3 high speed helicopter program (presumably the successor to the prior
Mi-X1 and
RACHEL efforts) and due to fly later this year.

Cockpit geometry is reminiscent of one of Sikorsky's prior
X2 attack helicopter concepts.
