there are no old low-level aerobatic pilots.
The last one I knew recently crashed with an old certified full metal piper going straight and level but with a leak in the exhaust resulting in a CO poisoning...
So arguably he is no longer an old low-level aerobatic pilot, but not because of that.
It´s not always the obviously dangerous which kills you.
