I usually use Aramex to bring things over (they have no problem with acrylics), they won't ship enamels or thinners or the like. But I would assume that your Lock and Lock box would do acrylics, I'm not aware on any restrictions on them.
I do know that when I order from some sites in the US, they specifically state that they cannot ship certain products via air or outside of the US, SpruesBros being one of them. I used another site, RedfrogHobbies in the US as well, they just threw stuff in a box (so I managed to get some glues etc that Aramex wouldn't ship) and had it shipped to my mailbox.
I try to stock up on all my enamel needs, etc when I leave the country. I just ensure that all the bottles, etc, are well packaged in bubble wrap, etc.
Just got back from HK with a case full of Mr.Hobby paints and kits, no problem
@GA Button - I shipped in an Iwata compressor via Aramex. Tank, water trap, regulator et al......yes, this was a few years back, but they had no issue with that. Otherwise, bring it with you in your check-in luggage.
