The great Classical (Romantic to be more precise) composer Johannes Brahms, born Hamburg 1833, was, by the time he was ten years old, (to bring money into the family), playing the piano in waterfront dives and bordellos. This left psychic scars. All his life he was uncomfortable with virtuous women, only capable of sex with prostitutes. Brahms later in life told a friend about some of his experiences. "That was my first impression of women. And you expect me to honour them as you do!".
