It may be that DL having access to Virgin's connecting passengers on EDI-LHR and knowing Little Red is ending thought it was worth another go,either that or GIP just offered them a deal only a fool would refuse. Won't be good if they get a one season Delta at the expense of American giving up though. It's an underserved market though and the B757 is the right aircraft.
