Riveroak, an American company with extensive experience in Real Estate investments seem very keen to get their hands on the land at Manston and claim they want to run it as an airport, although we are told they have never run an airport before. It seems they are willing to suggest meetings, move money from one account to another, and issue numerous press releases. The one thing they are not willing to do is supply Thanet Council with the written information they have asked for- where is the money coming from? The only letters they did supply apparently had the important information blacked out. Astonishing.
On another note, on wonders on what grounds the company can claim Manston was a "vital piece of UK infrastructure". Apart from the loss of 144 mostly part-time jobs it's closure has had zero impact on commercial UK aviation.
