Not sure if you count 2 miles as too far, but Jamie Oliver's Fifteen is a five minute taxi ride from Newquay Airport, and the location is stunning. Not cheap, obviously...
Also, The Beach Hut (run by Watergate Bay Hotel) is just below Fifteen, and is a bit more casual, but good food.
