I have a horrible feeling the LTN-CPH route will all end in tears...
When easyJet and Ryanair compete like this on a route, it nothing ever ends well.
We will probably see easyJet throw the towel in, no longer willing to see their profits on the route erroded. Then once this happens, Ryanair will drop back to like twice daily and move it across the road to Stansted.
Then while this all happens, airlines like SAS will have cut the BHX route back to the bone!
I have heard rumours both airlines get extremely good discounts from CPH because it is considered a brand new route for the airport, as Luton hasn't seen a CPH connection in years. While the other London airports have all served the route in recent years and the discount cannot be offered.
If both airlines are getting heavy discounts on the route, when this ends. It will be interesting to see what happens next.
