I was told by an ophthalmologist who had knowledge about HK Class 1 med that my right eye (not left) cannot be corrected and it's 6/36. It means that i won't pass the Class 1 in HK. I do know that as long as one person passes the medical flight test, the person will be granted with a SODA (Statement of Demonstrated Ability) by the aviation authority to obtain Class 1 medical.
I probably need to go the the forum for HK to ask about if HKCAD recognises SODA or not, because I have not read through anything about it yet. I know the western countries have these medical waivers for sure. Now, I just want to make sure my hometown allows it as well. haha.
