I'm in the same boat as several other posters looking at work in Hong Kong and have been doing the leg work to get a feel for the pilot market here. Things are relatively slow at the moment as previous posters have said. One tip I have picked up from management company recruiters is to have a US or European licence as they are easier to convert to the required type. Australian CASA licences are seen as being difficult to convert and can see an otherwise strong applicant bypassed. CASA's licensing department is world renowned as difficult to deal with, not that I'm surprised.
