I had few problems with Win 7 and even fewer with XP which I am still running on my main desktop machine. If the stories about Win 8 are anything to go by then I can understand why these users will find 10 better but. so far for me the upgrade was a complete waste of time and effort.
I recently applied for the Win 10 free upgrade having read through this thread and decided, on balance, to give it ago. Your post has got me re-thinking as I also have Win 7 and am happy with it. The upgrade has yet to be made available to me so I think IŽll give it a miss when it does. As mentioned, it may be an improvement on Win 8 but not so much on 7.
