'The fact that it is an outrageous imposition to charge you for letting someone out of/into the car might have something to do with it !
Bournemouth, & other airports, might need to get their grasping fingers on every little bit of revenue that they can, but these sort of charges are beyond the pail !'
The airport has a right to make a profit doesn't it? As i understand it the car parking and drop off charges have kept it afloat. It would be far better from the airports
PR point of view not to have to charge but where does the revenue come from then? You can't force people to shop / eat etc in the airport and you can't put a surcharge on tickets as the low cost airlines just refuse. Stuck with car parks.
