Not likely to happen...
Unfortunately, in these types of situations, the complaining parties, no matter how justified or well intended, are not likely to prevail in any civil action (criminal...out of the question), simply because most of these fly-by-night companies have little or no assets that can be attached, even if a civil suit was successful.
Our company has prevailed in the past with the MIA crowd (leasing company) simply because we held the aircraft with a federal restraining order...could not be moved or sold, unless we were paid.
They pay up in the majority of these cases.
Suspect that NEA will not pay a dime....nor can they be forced to do so.
