And for the future, if getting a CAA authorised examiner to do your revalidation by experience is not practical,
You only need a FI/CRI with a UK issued licence, who has the privileges to sign off a Certificate of Experience. All such instructors are being authorised on their next CAA licence page re-issue or on application.
