Skip, why do you find it so objectionable for those of us in the North West to want to see MAN realise its full potential just as you want to see LHR do likewise? And even if Ken O'Toole did use slight poetic licence in promoting MAN in that article, do you believe LHR's propoganda for the 3rd runway was totally legit?
Edit: As far as I can see, it was the journalist who used the term 'hub' for MAN. In the actual quotes, Ken O'Toole simply refers to the 'airport' and then 'route base' for passengers from other regions.
Can I also suggest that it is possible to interpret 'hub' in the wider context of transport connectivity by rail, road etc. as well as just air.
Anyway, just trawled the Telegraph business section on line for any mention of MAG's financial results. Unsuccessful so far. No surprise there, but will keep trying. Did spot this little gem though.
