Well at last count we had 14 UK domestic routes served primarily 3/4 times a day from Inverness to Southampton and Norwich to Belfast.
AND Manchester is also sat epi-centre in respect of 4 of the UKs largest cities. Liverpool, Leeds, Bradford, Sheffield. 18 in all.
You might think we are hanging onto Heathrows tail but quite a few are hanging onto ours !
From memory AMS also serves 18 UK domestic routes, factoring in the proximity of Manchester to Liverpool, Leeds etc by road/rail I would suggest the claim in the MEN is not misplaced !
Whilst in your eyes there may be a touch of spin it is as nothing compared to the propaganda being pumped out by YourHeathrow.
Even Barry Scott would struggle to clear that up !
