Weaker dollar means stronger US-Au traffic, who seem to flock to UA/DL/AA first. Same on the reverse, expect traffic will be weaker due to low dollar.

United going direct daily into Melbourne wont help QF, Virgin shifting to Daily Brisbane just adds to their problems also.

Air NZ are probaly more vulnerable,all it will take is the rumoured relaunch of QF/AA onto NZ-USA routes and there goes their profitability.

Id still take another carrier over AC, even via NZ!. It's like a Canadian version of, the ever dreadful United
