Really don't think all electric is the way to go
And this proves it a major achievement to cross the channel in an electric plane?
They did it zones ago at the birth of aviation in bits of canvas and wood.
The way forward surely has to be a Hybrid part electric part fuel with fuel for take off and climb and electric for cruise with fans to recharge during fuel operations and in the cruise.
it is not practical with just electric what are you going to do fill up in five minutes when the bloody thing runs out of charge and you have to fly home or have another leg to fly? and 20 odd miles ? a big achievement ?
