hah yes I think its a "grey area" - never admit anything to the IRD! I always thought of it as I was still paying for training, and figured I could aways argue I was paying an average rate of X over the whole CPL. Regardless I am extremely grateful for the opportunity, and in all honesty would have been happy to pay something for the ferry flying, and probably would have loaded for free.
