A few years ago, as SLF I was upgraded to first class. Shortly after takeoff, I found a brand new MacBook Air in the seat pocket (about $2k at the time). After overcoming a moments temptation to keep it
, I alerted a flight attendant who I assume later took steps to get it back to it's rightful owner.
I don't think it occurred to anyone that it justified an air turnback
