It's good to know I can still retain some of my past aviation trivia.
I must confess to being a Stansted man, having grown up locally and spent many a Saturday morning the watching Tmac CL44's and the like, but this thread has reminded me what a wonderfully varied place LTN was in the 60's, 70's and 80's.
My first taste was being posted to RAF Germany in the late 80's and enjoying regular Britannia troopers to Gutersloh from LTN.
