The DAA did very little to promote Shannon in the past. Frequency and choice or routes will ensure that passengers who would probably prefer to fly into or out of the west will end up in Dublin.
Come on SNN had one of FR's largest bases of 6 aircraft back in the day. Incredible for a tiny town.
Most people will always want to visit Dublin so naturally the majority will use it.
What are the SAA ding to promote as it's no exactly paying off either.....
