I disagree with what "Pilat" said.
I know personally of people getting interviews for Eagle with 1200 total of VFR time through instructing, basic MEIR lapsed years ago so expired instrument rating etc no ILS endorsement and not been trained through Air NZ approved.
While at the same time I know of people with 2000tt and 400-500 hours multi IFR B-cat instructors who haven't heard a thing, my self included.
Who knows what they are doing, maybe they are pulling names out of a hat? hah!
