Think its a bit of a mix
I came to flying from car racing before a race the nerves kicked in the adrenaline rose and most drivers were dead serious, emotionless.
When the lights changed, everything changed! The nerves went and you extracted all you could. Then on the straights you got the occasional smile
A lot is focus a lot fear until those lights go to green then its mainly focus.
Russians tend to be more serious but underneath that comes the smile and hearts of gold as well as passion of gold too!
The passion is all important It is the powerhouse and I am sure she has plenty
