True,OST has going through a difficult period after the loss of 2-3 cargo airlines but, as mentioned before,this year will see a rise of about 20-25% extra passengers at OST, bringing the PAX figure close to 300K by yearend. After so many years ,2016 will probably see the resumption of regular flights from UK-airport(s) to OST. The parking area will be increased to accomodate another 600 cars and investments will be made in the airport-building.On top of that, promotion for the airport by private operator EGIS and the Flemish government is becoming more intense and will lead to results. Also I forgot to mention that the airport is open 24/7 ,which can not be said of many other airports. So,it seems OST is alive and kicking .(feeling sorry for Manston though)
