Some years go I read somewhere (yes, I know....
) that it's safer to have as much of the baggage as possible in the hold, keeping the weight in the cabin lockers and under seats down to a minimum. Is there any truth in this? Or is the safety bit nothing to do with weight distribution, and more to do with how much general stuff there is all over the cabin?
