T1 was only used so the taxi way could be repaired as a couple of stands were taken out of service. The good thing about AA being in t3 is that if there is an issue such as late running aircraft or cancellations, they can be rebooked onto the BA and shuttled through LHR. Not ideal but better than nothing.
