vfenext--maybe read his post. It was a response to the the post above where EK did not make the top 10 in Cabin Staff. His comments were directed squarely to that topic. Where did he show he had 'an axe to grind"???
They made $1.5 billion in profit- great. How long will that last as their product continues to deteriorate? With more competition and BETTER competition they had better pull their heads out of the sand because those profits won't continue and they have squeezed the staff to the maximum now.
Looking just at the cabin crew- they are leaving faster than they can hire (quote from a cc trainer last week). They are leaving NOT because of the money but because if the treatment! Fix something as simple as their bidding system and many would stay. But the attitude from on high is - why bother! That same attitude is now what we see in the cabin service.
