This from Mr Gammon Flaps in Jun 2015:
I'm surprised any of you answered that question considering the way in which it was asked.

Some poor sod is obviously going through the ringer. He obviously won't appreciate if he has to defend a lawyers demand for 20% net of £200k when he's actually on less.
This from Mr Gammon Flaps in Feb 2013:
Actually - there are some pilots taking in £250k, because I've flown with them, and had the pleasure of listening to their tales of tax woe.

PP24 = £153k ish.
Training pay: 20% ish = basic of £180k dish
Allowances = £20k ish
Plus - some guys actually are drawing their pension now - which is say £80k being pessimistic.

The figures get really interesting when you take into account the number of guys who pay no - or very little (legally) income tax.

So your £20k take home pay every month grosses back up to quite an interesting figure. Good luck to them!
That lawyer's not going to have to look too hard, is s/he?

At least he confirms my figures! Albeit BA have had two pay rises since then.

Still, at least Mr GF's on three times that now.
