Tasair commences operations as an air charter, maintenance and flying school operation in Hobart Tasmania.
Air charter only. Tasair was the commercial offshoot of the Aero Club of Southern Tasmania and as such only did charter work. The maintenance and flight training was still done by the ACST until much later.
