Well I'll add my voice to those defening Goodwood - lovely place, and I found the grass there
sssmmmmoooottthhhh, especially as others have said wrt White Waltham (which is kinda fun anyway - the airfield, not you or the aircraft, makes the actual launch decision !). And the restaurant at Goodwood is better than most - you gets what you pays for, and I'd rather have something decent on offer than the usual turbid tripe, even if a bit more expensive!
