IFR Pick-up, VFR on top, VMC climb & descent. All of them only cover the lowest common denominator, but it is justified by being done that way in Goober Land, Home of the Invaders... In ICAO, NZ and a bunch of other places these procedures are used (and in the poor old LLAMP project
) you need agreement between BOTH aircraft involved, and the controller gets a vote too.
But I guess considering the opinions of others is a bit beyond broken-down f*ck-wits like Winstun.
Besides, driving a Volvo P40 while being tit-whipped by my wife sounds pretty neat.
