Ripline had already nicked, well, ripline...
For a balloon pilot the Ripline is the second most important flying control. "Crownline" sounded too posh and "Dump" is open to mis-interpretation........
The most important control, of course, being the
blastvalve, but i didn't like the sound of that, so...
A friend/colleague had recently bought me an RTFM tee-shirt. Cannot imagine why she thought it would be helpful for me to wear it, rather than say it
Somebody else suggested that it might be just a tad too "in your face", so I lenghtend it
