fliion, that is exactly right, your statement...."global standards". The product EK puts out is beyond global standards, the aircraft for the most part are above global standards, maintence, IMHO, is above global standards and the service and c.c. overall is above global standards (when compared to many legacy carriers). BUT their terms and conditions and overall treatment of staff is well below global standards. If "they" want to compare the airline to majors around the world, then they fall way short of being a leader with regard to our pay and overall working conditions.
Gulf Air ver. 2.0. Has been said before. They really don't get it. Their myopic view of our pay, hours, etc. is unbelievable.
