I was devastated to hear this news. I flew with Jim many times. He trained me from the beginning. As others have said, a gent and a truly decent man. His passing is a body blow to us all and will surely raise questions in all our minds. He took great stress in his time at Emirates and the company has a debt to pay to a man who gave devoted service. Always moderate, restrained and considerate, and a careful and conciencious pilot. My heartfelt condolences to his family.
