Well to say work was scarce in Australia at the moment would be an understatement. The mining industry has taken a dive which means the companies chartering the miners are going out of business, which means qualified pilots with lots of experience are searching for work wherever they can get it, so inexperienced pilots are out of luck. I know I stand a minimal chance of finding employment over there, but at the very least it will be a good holiday to a part of the world I'm fascinated in. Right now I have no commitments here in Australia so this may be my only opportunity to make this trip, and if I don't go I'll always regret it. I'll take you up on that drink if i find work altiplano, I'll use that offer as my motivation
