My take is that in under ten years nearly all pilots in Qantas long haul will be effectively on a B scale less money, more hours flying per bid period.
Or on existing types, mostly remaining in rank, until they exit the fleet. I believe this EA presents an opportunity for QF pilots to 'remain relevant' and if the negotiations have gone as well as purported then I also believe the conditions will be fair.
Now hopefully we will get a look at it in the next couple of weeks
