Maybe I had a dream run? I walked straight into a job.

Every newbie pilot has to start somewhere right? If he has the right to live and work in Canada as he does via the IEC then he has as much right to work there as a Canadian.

The only thing difference I could suggest to what Aussie nick has said is that 1) Do your Canadian medical in Aussie with an approved examiner there. A million times easier. You can use your home postal address for that as well.

2) Check the multi rating (Note, this is only for the multi rating). When I checked it to convert mine over, it was 50 PiC in the last 12 months, or, if it had been issued in the last 12 months, then it would convert over.

Other than that! Give it a good crack and enjoy it!
