From my experience CV are not required. To get onto the BA thang you just phone them up for an application 0870 60 80 747. Aer lingus is the same exept that they are not recruiting at the moment. If you are perpared to shell oot some bucks then contact air2000, brit european, BMI that all want you to pay the £15-£25K ish, but the same applies.
