What a thoroughly heart warming thread to read over the last few pages. There are a lot of BA pilots feeling slightly over worked and under appreciated at the moment - perhaps typical in any airline in the run up to the busy summer period. Anyone feeling slightly grumpy or fed up with their lot would benefit immensely from reading the last couple of pages. If nothing else it reminds you what a coveted job you have.
Congratulations to all those who have got in. My only advice would be, don't under estimate the hard work required to get through the training. BA will be expecting a huge effort on your part to perform to the highest standard possible. At the same time, I remember my training as being the most enjoyable 18 months ever and I made friends for life in the process.
Work hard, enjoy it and well done again.
