As in most cases liability and the underwriting thereof can be a significant determining factor in the bottom line of ANY business enterprise. Put simply, an insurance premium can make you or break you. Insurance companies as a rule don't seem to fancy exposed tail rotors especially those that are slung about near the ground or in tight quarters let alone in close proximity to passersby.
