For anyone interested:
Had an assessment 2 weeks ago.
Sim: EMA non-standard departure, airwork, tracking an NDB inbound, entering hold over NDB, emergency - I got a medical emergency, my sim partner a galley fire. Then ILS intercept, once visual G/S and LOC out, land visually.
Interview: I had the good cop, bad cop arrangement.
Tech questions:
-Jetstreams
- Anti-icing/ de-icing
- Carb ice and carb heat
- What is Mcrit, why is it good for it to be high
- Why do we fly at Mach Number
HR:
- Why Ryanair
- Why did I go to my flight school
- How did I get on with my instructors
- How did I pay for training
- What will be the most challenging aspect if you join Ryanair
Out of 8, 5 of us made it, 3 didn't.
