I completely understand where your coming from though. That's why KLM and Lufthansa overnight aircraft in several European airports. Take Dublin and Cardiff as examples. In Dublin, Lufthansa overnight an A321 so its first to leave DUB in the morning, its times perfectly to align with the wave of long haul departures in Frankfurt. In Cardiff KLM do the same, just with different aircraft and a different hub.
