According to the ministry of defense and military spokesmen, it crashed due to the tail rotor malfunction (please correct my terminology as my knowledge of helicopter parts is not as good as planes and I ma quoting the exact term used in the press briefing ). It was 30-40 feet above the ground and crashed close to landing area.
