Homo Simpson, I think if you'd had the courtesy of asking Bagso first, you might have discovered he does take the time and trouble to contact various people and organisations regarding issues affecting Manchester Airport.
There is a perception, not unreasonable in my view, that some local MPs and business leaders could be a little more active and vocal in helping to promote MAN in the same way that some other airports are in their regions. Whether this arises from complacency (MAN's doing ok thank you so why bother), indifference or hostility, is a matter of conjecture. Perhaps more is going on behind the scenes that is not obvious - I hope it is.
