Nice article online from our old friends at anna.aero regarding the new BE DUS route, and the launch of the new 2 x E190 base at the start of June.
Sales don't appear to be too bad at all on some of the routes, so fingers crossed that these routes perform for BE. I'll be a regular user of the EDI/GLA flights on a twice weekly basis soon, seem to be more reliable than the CityJet offering these days.
The ACC meeting was yesterday, so hopefully some news will come out of that with recent developments/objectives for CWL. Also heard that if BE's routes achieve the benchmark figures already set out in the original release, that they'll look to add further routes, which could mean another based aircraft for next Summer potentially. With the charter market at CWL, that has stagnated in recent years with both TOM and TCX seemingly cut and pasting their schedules year after year, the BE routes and any extra offerings from FR or the likes will be a welcome boost, with the majority of charter expansion taking place at BRS (logically). Also for Summer 2016, VY could add more rotations/destinations since their routes seem to be improving year after year !
