cheers don, wasn't aware it was still in your contract, but it is still a pay raise. majority of company employees outside management get a smaller performance raise than the increment so it saves massively. in terms of working time agree its bad but its the same for a large part of the company, the difference being there is no legal maximum duty even for engineers certifying your aircraft, lots of 'compulsory' unpaid overtime , all so certain managers can achieve their bonus targets ! keep discovering !
